So Many New Things

So there has been a lot going on since my last post so long ago! Shayne popped out two little teeth at one time...started saying "mama" all the time...and then started saying "dada" too! She decided to stop using her bottle and takes her milk from a cup now, can sit up (if she isnt too excited), and tries to say "more"....I can not believe it! So many things have happened since she turned 7 months:) It is so much fun!


Here is a pic of her little teeth:) Aren't they so cute? We are taking our first plane ride with her to Missouri for a family reunion of sorts...so we are praying she does well! She is trying to cut her top teeth and has not been our happy-go-lucky baby that she has always been...plus I think her little personality is coming through!
We cant wait to see what she comes up with next...but we are also excited to have her this small:)

So I hope to not make my posts so far apart from now on....I think I just forget about blogging! Since it has been football season...I find myself on the couch every Sunday afternoon with my hubby watching football...thats right...I LOVE to watch football! Its our little thing every fall and winter:)

God is AMAZING!!

Ok, so I know that sounds obvious to say that God is amazing...but I still get blown away every day! Take a look at the picture above. I got all that at the grocery store today...all name brands right? So what do you think I paid??? Well I will tell you...$20!!! Everyone who knows me knows I LOVE my coupons...I even keep them in baseball card holders in a folder and take them with me wherever I go (you never know when something will be on sale!) But God went above and beyond my coupons today. Just in case you cant see everything...I will list it:)

-2 packages of Pampers Sensitive wipes (350 wipes in each box)-clearance $4.74
-Activia yogurt (4 count)-$1 with coupon
-Dannon Light and Fit yogurt (4 count)-$1 with coupon
-2 boxes of Pop Tarts (12 count each)-$2.96 for both with coupon
-8 jars of Beech Nut baby food (2nd and 3rd stage with the meat)-67 cents for all with coupon
-1 pound of bananas-70 cents-Shayne can eat a whole one!
-5 boxes of Gerber Rice cereal (they were only 9 CENTS a box!)
-1 pack of Huggies wipes (40 count)-$1
-1 pack of Pampers Clean and Go wipes (60 count...they were free with the Sensitive wipes)
-2 1/2 gallons of Shamrock Farms Fat Free Plus Milk (99 cents each)

So all in all...it was a miracle! We are going out of town soon, so the baby food and travel wipes will help a ton and I dont have to get wipes and cereal for a long time...or Claytons Pop Tarts!:) I never buy what we cant use and its just proof that God will always provide! I only went to the store today for bananas and yogurt...and He provided other things that are always on our grocery list:)

Damask Alpha

OK so I am SO excited about this new alpha! I have made some alphas before...but this one if by far my favorite! I wanted to create something that had both black and brown in it. I know I will use it alot and I hope you can too! Shayne is getting a little more active during the day...so my freebie making may slow down a little...but I still love it and I LOVE getting the comments. They really mean a lot to me! Enjoy:)

New Room and New Freebie!

OK, so I have FINALLY finished our room! I feel like it has been a work in process since we got married almost 3 years ago:) I have decorated it a few different ways over the years...but it never felt right or like it was truly "us"...so finally it is done and I LOVE it! I had always wanted to have our room done in white, red, black, and teal...so here it is!

I was supposed to have it put together by yesterday...but I was having a problem with my paintings. I finished them, but when I went to spray them clear...it came out white and ruined them! I had to repaint them!

SO here is our wonderful black, white, red, and teal room:) If you have ever been to our house, you know that red, white, and black are a constant in our lives:) We have many places decorated like that!

So in honor of our new room...I made a freebie to match! I think this is my favorite freebie so far. Definitly things I will use all the time! The lotus flower and the damask overlay are actually black...I just turned them white so you can see them in the sample:) Enjoy!...and leave some love if you take:)

Shayne Is Almost 6 Months!

Ok, so since Shayne is almost 6 months old, I finally got her 5 month pictures taken and scrapbooked:) I can not believe she is almost 1/2 a year old! We are going to celebrate her 1/2 birthday next month:) Basically an excuse to bake a cake and have a party:) She is just getting so big...I can't keep up:)
